Procast have yet again been recognised by the Insulated Render & Cladding Association for their refurbishment of local authority properties.
The group were Installer of the Year Award winners and they were commended for External Wall Insulation Excellence.
The 2022 INCA Awards were presented on Thursday, November 17, at the Queens Hotel in Leeds at a packed ceremony, which recognised and celebrated the best in the EWI sector.
The double success emulated the two awards picked up by Procast in November, 2021, when they were named Environmental/Energy Conservation winners and were Highly Commended in the Refurbishment – Insulation/Render Finish category.
This time, as well as being named Installer of the Year Award winners, the group were recognised for the work carried out on domestic properties in North Lanarkshire that were difficult-to-treat due to their construction, non-standard timber cross-walls, non-compliant insulation and non-traditional housing stock.
Working closely with EWI manufacturers Structherm, Procast were able to overcome any technical issues to ensure a smooth installation process for tenants and clients North Lanarkshire Council.
This resulted in a positive impact both socially (as we are helping residents save money) and environmentally (as we are lowering carbon emissions).
Over and above the contracted works, Procast worked with NLC to implement a wider programme in which they generated all the investment to offer softer insulation measures free of charge to all local authority residents to help tackle fuel poverty.
Through positive engagement with all residents (tenants and homeowners) Procast achieved a 100% sign-up for the upgrading of their houses with the installation of effective, modern and safe compliant insulation.
