A number of our people have just supported the local community by getting involved in the ‘Annual Beach Clean’ in Troon.
This annual spring clean is organised by the local Rotary Club, in conjunction with the local council who have asked Rotary to coordinate the Beach Clean aspect of their Keep Scotland Beautiful campaign.
Many of the local community is dismayed by the amount of litter collected on the beach. Both Rotary and the council invite and encourage as many folk as possible to join in this annual massive environmental clean-up, to restore the beach to its former glory as a shoreline that the community can be proud of.
