Our very own Barry Chisholm has taken the big step up to the role of Projects Director within the Procast Group.
Multi-skilled Barry has been with us for five-and-a-half years and has known Procast Managing Director Derek Innes for 16 years – the pair of them hitting it off instantly when they first met on-site.
Barry has filled the roles of Project Manager, Group Health & Safety Manager, Operations Manager and he now makes the move up to a position in which he will have responsibility for the project management of all group sites.
He said: “It’s a hard role but if you want to be the best, you have to take on these sorts of challenges.
“I like the satisfaction of success and pledging to not let people down, particularly Derek, who has shown trust in me.
“I’m under no illusions – the hard work starts now.”
Derek added: “Barry was one of the first people I met when I started out in business, and he has risen through the ranks.
“Ambition brings success to the company – and Barry has that in spades. He knows this role is more than just a job, that it’s all about trust.”
