Contract extension reward for roof and render excellence

19th February 2021

PROCAST have won a 12-month extension to the Trade Contractors’ Framework agreement they secured with West Lothian Council to deliver improvements to residential properties.

This will take the company’s projects rollout to January 31, 2022, and will see them deliver roofing, rendering, plastering and painting programmes across various properties and locations in the local authority area.

Due to Procast’s “great work”, the council have decided to exercise their right to activate a 12-month extension.

Last year, we revealed we had secured the contract to improve the quality of residents’ homes and peoples’ lives in Dedridge (two sites), Armadale, pictured above, (three) and Whitburn (two).

The projects had been awarded under the Trades Contractor Framework agreement with the council, and Procast were “delighted” to have secured them.

Roofing and rendering works form part of the company’s core services, which they have been delivering on a “repeat business” basis for a number of years to longstanding clients including Renfrewshire, Falkirk, East Renfrewshire, East Dunbartonshire, South Ayrshire and North Lanarkshire Councils.

Carol Cameron, Group Development Director at Procast Building Contractors, said: “We are delighted our superior work has been recognised and that as a reward we have secured further roof and render work packages for West Lothian Council.

“The contracts will run into next year and will help support local employment and our existing apprenticeship development.”

The framework agreement can cover all properties under the ownership or care of West Lothian Council and can include schools, residential care, social, leisure, community centres and offices.
