THE entire Procast group are proud to be helping West Highland Housing reduce domestic running costs for residents in Oban while working towards the organisation’s net-zero targets.
Our team went up to Argyll to install Panasonic air source heat pumps and Sunamp heat batteries at Polvinister Gardens, Campbell Crescent and Nelson Road. In all, 44 heating systems were installed over a 10-week period.
The 9kw HT Panasonic ASHPs will provide heating and hot water for individual properties, and the compact Sunamp units will store all heating and hot water needs.
The ASHPs and battery units together form a key part of WHH’s decarbonisation programme and are complemented by further reductions in running costs through the installation of mains-pressured showers in upgraded bathrooms.
The Panasonic ASHPs are reliable, quiet in operation, easy to use, and deliver a cost-effective low-carbon alternative to mains gas, oil, LPG and electric heaters.
The Sunamp batteries are designed to be charged with large amounts of energy from renewable sources that is released to deliver heat and hot water, providing a low-carbon, reliable, space-saving alternative to traditional hot water cylinders.
