Procast have delivered a sympathetic upgrade to the main restaurant at one of Scotland’s iconic country mansion house hotels.
The refurbishment was completed at Piersland House, which is situated adjacent to world-famous Royal Troon Golf Club in Ayrshire.
Piersland, which is an architecturally stunning four-star establishment, is famed as a wedding venue and a welcoming location for sophisticated wining and dining, attracting guests from far and wide.
Procast’s Property Services division carried out the refurbishment of the Red Bowl Restaurant while the hotel remained operational, so measures had to be put in place to keep any inconvenience caused to the hotel staff and customers to a minimum.
The project included:
Operationally, the project was headed up by Contracts Manager Gary Baxter and Site Manager Logan Rock. Commercially, it was led Commercial Manager John Kane, aided by Assistant Quantity Surveyor Beth Dougan and Buyer Jennifer Strain.
Procast spokesman Frank McManus said: “We are absolutely delighted to have handed over on time this beautifully and sympathetically designed refreshed bar and restaurant area of this Grade-A listed country mansion house for the staff, guests and visitors to enjoy its charm and elegance.
“This was our first project for Piersland House and Trevillion Interiors and is a partnership we hope to build on in the future.
“A special thanks to manufactured joinery partner BJM Design Ltd, all subcontractors, suppliers and my team at Procast for delivering and outstanding job that Piersland are very proud of.”
