Graduate/Trainee Construction Manager

Due to recent success with tendered projects, Procast Group require Graduate Construction Managers to join our team.

Position: Graduate/Trainee Construction Manager
Reporting to: Site Manager and/or Project Manager
Location: Central Belt

About the role

Successfully and effectively support our Site Management/Project Management Teams with all day-to-day management activities on various residential and public building refurbishment projects in a safe, timely manner to the desired quality standards.

Key duties and responsibilities

  1. Implement all aspects of our HSEQ policy onsite to maintain safe systems of work and ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and company standards.
  2. Undertake all necessary assistant site manager duties in line with project demands, including management and direction of all sub-contract and in-house labour.
  3. Ensure all works are carried out in line with contract specification, drawings and quality standards.
  4. Effectively communicate with the client’s clerk of works.
  5. Ensure all works are carried out to the correct standard and all remedial works are closed out as quickly as possible.
  6. Complete all weekly/daily site reports and audit documentation.

Candidate requirements

Construction Management graduate at HNC, HND or BSc level or currently studying towards Construction Management qualification.
