We are delighted to have secured a major contract together with our strategic working partners the JR Group, delivering External Upgrade Works on behalf of Renfrewshire Council over the next 4 years. The contract value over this period is worth a maximum of £40 million for full envelope works and we have been trusted to deliver these works as part of a major £86.6 million housing investment by the Council.
Residents are set to benefit from the £86.6m housing investment in Renfrewshire over the next three years through improve housing levels with both regeneration and new build homes.
Planned investment programmes include improvements to the external fabric of council houses, roof renewals, kitchen and bathroom upgrades, improved electrical wiring and heating systems and improvements to multi-storey flats and sheltered housing. Smoke, heat and carbon monoxide alarms will also continue to be upgraded as part of a programme to meet the Scottish Government’s new standards which come into effect in February 2021.
Residents have indicated that they strongly agree with the Council’s housing priorities to deliver high quality services through the maintenance and improvements to existing houses together with investment in new build homes.
