The top team at Procast has been given a triple boost with the arrival of three new team members, demonstrating the group’s commitment to strengthening its business offering.
They are Thomas Printy, who is joining us as Contracts Manager/Area Manager, Robert Millar, who is our new Head of Estimating, and Anna Millar, who is Estimating Administrator.
Thomas will have responsibility for overseeing operations and the smooth delivery of contracts over several sites.
He will also act as a support and mentor to managers and will report to Derek Innes and Barry Chisholm.
Thomas, who is hugely experienced across a range of disciplines on-site and off-site, joins Procast from the Everwarm Group, where he was Area Manager for seven years and held the positions of Area Site Manager, Senior Site Manager and Site Manager.
He lives in Glasgow with his two ragdoll cats and in his spare time he likes to sing, play guitar, take photographs, paint and draw.
He said: “I am looking forward to going the Procast team because I see positive thinking and a can-do attitude to industry changes.
Robert, who also lives in Glasgow, has responsibility for overseeing all estimating functions within the business and will report to Ross Samson.
He has 30 years’ experience in the construction industry and is a Chartered Construction Manager. He was previously Estimating and Procurement Manager at Scottish and Southern Energy.
His hobbies are hillwalking, outdoor swimming and watching football.He said: “I am looking forward to working with the Procast team to assist in their continued success.”
Anna will report to Robert Millar and will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of estimating administration across all three sectors of the Procast business.
She has an Honours Degree in History from Strathclyde University and was latterly a butcher’s assistant.
Hailing from Muirhead, Anna likes walking her two dogs in her spare time as well as
swimming, drawing, playing guitar and eating out.
She said: “I am looking forward to joining the team at Procast because of the new
challenges it will present to me. I am constantly looking to learn new things
and I am sure this will be a great opportunity for me to prove myself as a
strong candidate within the field.”
