PROCAST have signalled their ambitions to expand further into the energy sector with the decision to appoint Paul Shearin to the all-new role of Managing Director of Procast Energy Services.

Paul has been heading up the energy team within the group for some time now and has demonstrated his commitment to putting PES at the forefront of commercial and domestic renewable energy services provision.

He said: “I am honoured to take on the role of MD at PES. I have been fortunate to have had the support of Group Managing Director Derek Innes and his other directors to help build an incredible team.

“We have many exciting projects kicking off in 2022, so there is a real air of excitement within the whole group.

“We are confident that Procast Energy Services will support our current and new clients’ energy-saving targets and ambitions, and that that will aid growth within the group.

“We will be aiming to deliver many multi-faceted projects utilising our defining in-house expertise – as such, it is an exciting time to be part of Procast.”

Procast Energy Services specialise in the concept, feasibility, design and installation/commissioning of solar photovoltaic systems, associated battery storage and renewable heating systems including air-source and ground-source heat pumps and biomass systems.

With energy costs constantly rising against a backdrop of climate change,  low-carbon technology has a critical role to play in the future of sustainable energy, not just in the UK but all over the world.

Paul, who has been with Procast for two years and is married with two children, added: “We want our clients to have confidence in the low-carbon systems they invest in and we want to help inspire a new generation of home-grown energy, fit for purpose, wherever it is located.

“Our mission is to be at the forefront of innovative and sustainable energy efficiency solutions for residential and commercial premises across the country.”
