PROCAST have significantly increased their expertise and bolstered their business offering by acquiring electrical contracting company Brimar Electrical Solutions Ltd.
This will allow the two firms to continue with their “shared family vision ethos” and the move will allow the Procast Group to deliver full in-house retrofit services across the construction, property, energy and electrical installation sectors.
The acquisition was formally announced today – May 5, 2022 – by Procast Managing Director Derek Innes and the founders of Brimar Electrical Solutions, Brian Glancy and Mark Scott.
The trio have a longstanding relationship, having worked together on numerous projects large and small over recent years.
Derek said: “We warmly welcome Brimar into the Procast family. It’s a fast-changing world right now, with over 29 million homes in the UK in need of being retrofitted with low-carbon solutions.
“This acquisition is part of our strategy to provide a full in-house retrofit package inclusive of electrical and mechanical services solutions for our valued clients.”
“This acquisition will fully support our Energy Services division who are currently delivering heat-recovery systems and renewable technologies.”
He predicts massive growth in the mechanical and electrical services in the coming years and is working towards a big push for new business in the industry as a result of having Brimar’s expertise on board.
Derek is delighted that the Brimar team will form a “fourth arm” for Procast, bringing an extra dimension to the group’s offering as they embark on a “new adventure” together.
Brian and Mark issued a statement, welcoming the tie-up with Procast, saying: “This is an exciting stage in our development, and we look forward to working and growing with the team at Procast on the journey ahead.”
