Procast shortlisted for three Energy Efficiency Awards

PROCAST are delighted to have been shortlisted in three categories of the Scotland Regional Energy Efficiency Awards 2020/21.

The group have been recognised in the Regional Large Scale Project of the Year (more than £250,000) for the North Lanarkshire Council measured-term project, with mentions of North Lanarkshire Council and Structherm.

This category rewards one exceptional project, in each of the 11 areas of the UK, and recognises the efforts of all those involved while maintaining excellent customer service that demonstrates a high standard of workmanship.

Procast have also been given the nod in the Regional Small Scale Project of the Year (up to £250,000) for the Strathaven Airfield improvement works, with mention of CCL components.

This category also rewards the efforts of those involved, their excellent customer service and defining workmanship.

The final recognition has come in the Regional Insulation & Fabric Installer and Contractor of the Year category, which seeks to honour an “exceptional company”  involved in the installation, extraction, repair or maintenance of insulation or other energy-efficiency building fabric systems such as doors, windows and draft-proofing.

Procast have also been nominated in the following categories and they in turn have  recognised the hard work of their partners in other categories:

  • Regional Vulnerable Customer Support Campaigner of the Year – The Energy Agency.
  • Regional Council or Local Authority Body of the Year – North Lanarkshire Council.
  • Regional Housing Association of the Year – Thenue Housing Association.

A spokeswoman for Procast said: “We are really delighted to have been shortlisted for three prestigious awards and nominated for the other three, as this means we have been officially recognised for the hard work and dedication we put in to the regeneration of the communities in which we work.”

The Scotland Regional Energy Efficiency Awards are open to anyone involved in the energy saving and efficiency sector in the country and are designed to recognise best practice within the industry.

They will be presented at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Glasgow on September 10, 2021.
