PROCAST are going to get 2021 off to a flying start after they were awarded a new contract to improve housing stock in Stirling.
The £1 million programme of works will involve heating systems, electrical re-wiring, new kitchen and bathroom installations, internal joinery works, decoration, plastering, drainage, fascias, soffits and roofing and rendering repairs..
The project will start in January 2021 and will run until January 2022 and it will cement Procast’s strong relationship with Stirling Council.
As a result of the company’s exemplary performance while delivering current housing projects to the local authority, this project has been procured as a “direct award” under the Scottish Procurement Alliance (SPA) WH2 Whole House & Associated Works framework.
Because the homes will be occupied throughout the works and as a result of government restrictions imposed to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic, new enhanced standard operating procedures will be introduced by Procast to help deliver these upgrades safely and efficiently.
Procast Managing Director Derek Innes said: “We are delighted to have been awarded this contract, as it allows us to strengthen our already established working relationship with Stirling Council.
“We will continue to support them in their drive to deliver more affordable homes to residents that are warm, dry, energy-efficient and low carbon.”
These works form part of Procast’s core services that have been successfully delivered to many of the company’s longstanding clients over numerous years.
