Procast is currently working in partnership with North Lanarkshire Council to refurbish and future-proof St Andrews Primary School’s flat roof.
Works are programmed to start late February 2018 and as part of our preparations for deployment, we arranged upskilling training for a number of our roofing specialists with our partners Alumasc.
Our people attended the Alumasc Training Centre in Liverpool over a number of days, where they were trained in installing the contract specified roofing system ‘Alumasc Euroroof CaltechLOW’ using best practice techniques.
The Alumasc Euroroof CaltechLOW flat roofing system is a one component, cold-applied, solvent isocyanate-free roof waterproofing membrane. It cures to form a seamless and durable waterproofing solution that delivers a cost-effective way of extending the life cycles of flat roofs.
The system is especially ideal for flat roofs in sensitive areas such as schools and hospitals due to its low odour properties.
