Vacancy for Sub-Contract Administrator

Due to recent expansion within the Procast Group (Energy Services, Building Contractors and Property Services), we require an enthusiastic and perceptive Sub-Contract Administrator to join our team.

This is a new role and it represents a great opportunity for the right candidate to make their mark within a successful company.

Position: Sub-Contract Administrator
Reporting to: Finance Manager/Financial Controller/Commercial Manager
Location: Our Head Office in South Lanarkshire

 

About the role

The successful candidate will be involved in all areas of the sub-contract process, from on-boarding new sub-contractors through to finalising payment certificates, plus:

  • Taking ownership of all sub-contractor compliance, commercially and financially
  • Liaising daily with the commercial team and sub-contractors

Key duties and responsibilities

  1. On-boarding sub-contractors, completing vetting process – H&S, insurance, qualifications, setting up on Sage Construct
  2. Issuing PO’s and agreeing payment terms, issuing IR35 paperwork and ensuring compliance with IR35 rules
  3. Managing sub-contract inboxes for applications and ensuring timely sign-off of applications from commercial team and site, generating sub-contract payment certificates
  4. Assisting with all finance related administration duties, general office duties, and ensuring processes comply with company policies and financial legislation
  • Candidate Requirements
    Good organisational skills and time management skills
  • Previous experience of working within the construction Industry is preferable
  • Knowledge of VAT reverse and CIS
  • Good interpersonal skills
