Vacancy for Sub-Contract Administrator

Due to recent expansion, we require an enthusiastic and perceptive Sub-Contract Administrator to join our team within the Procast Group (Energy Services, Building Contractors and Property Services).

This is a new role within the group and is a great opportunity for the right candidate to make their mark in a successful company.

Position – Sub-Contract Administrator
Reporting to – Finance Manager/Financial Controller/Commercial Manager
Location – based at our head office in South Lanarkshire

About the role

Involved in all areas of the Sub-Contract process, from onboarding new sub-contractors through to finalising payment certificates, taking ownership of all sub-contractor compliance commercially and financially and liaising daily with the commercial team and sub-contractors.

Summary of key duties and responsibilities:

  1. Onboarding sub-contractors, completing vetting process – H&S, insurance, qualifications, setting up on Sage Construct
  2. Issuing POs and agreeing payment terms, issuing IR35 paperwork and ensuring compliance with IR35 rules
  3. Managing sub-contract inboxes for applications and ensuring timely sign-off of applications from commercial team and site, generating sub-contract payment certificates
  4. Assisting with all finance-related administration duties, general office duties, ensuring processes comply with company policies and financial legislation.

Candidate requirements:

  • Good organisational and time management skills
  • Previous experience of working within the construction Industry is preferable.
  • Knowledge of VAT reverse and CIS
  • Good interpersonal skills
