This substantial project involved external upgrading and the conversion of ageing flat roofs to pitched roofs on eighty residential properties between 31 and 179 Kingseat Avenue, Grangemouth, for Falkirk Council.
The works included structural repairs, demolition of masonry stairwell access to each block roof, design and installation of new timber roof trusses with steel tile-effect covering, application of Decothane system to garage roofs, new drainage outlets to balconies, new balustrades, new insulated external wall system, rockwool energy-saver blown cavity insulation, fascia/soffit, gutters and downpipes.
