Vacancy for Electrical Compliance Manager

Due to recent success with tendered projects, we require an experienced Electrical Compliance Manager to deliver various projects within the Central Belt, managed from our base in Hamilton.

As a business, we operate over several sectors including residential, retail, health and commercial with both private and public sector clients.

Position: Electrical Compliance Manager
Reporting to: Head of Operations 
Location: Based in our Hamilton office

About the role

As ECM, you will be responsible for all Electrical Compliance for the Procast Group, while still achieving the required legal standards and quality. This includes ensuring that all statutory electrical regulations are compiled with.

The successful candidate will oversee all electrical site activities on a variety of contracts, including new build, refurbishments, solar, solar thermal, battery storage and heat pumps.

Key duties and responsibilities

1. Implement all aspects of our HSEQ policy to maintain safe systems of work and ensure compliance with the current electrical regulations.
2. Undertake all necessary management duties for certification, electrical employees and electrical sub-contractors.
3. Hold appropriate electrical qualification to carry out the role.
4. Ensure all works are carried out comply with contract specification, drawings and are to a high standard.
5. Issue weekly progress reports to the Directors.
6. Effectively communicate and collaborate with the Procast Commercial team.
7. Effectively communicate with the client, their site representatives and design teams.
8. Provide support to the Procast bid team for tender submissions.
