Vacancy for Junior Buyer

We are seeking to recruit a Junior Buyer/Store Person to join our team in Hamilton. This is a great opportunity for a school leaver to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis.

Key duties:

• Working alongside our Procurement Manager, you will help with various elements of procurement for the business.
• Assisting with goods into our store, ensuring all delivery documentation is checked and processed thoroughly.
• Assisting with goods out, checking that items are ready for delivery and/or collection when required and any necessary paperwork is available.
• Loading and unloading of goods.
• Carrying out physical movement of stock within the yard area.
• Ensuring all documentation that is required to be recorded on to our computerised system is done so correctly and in a timely fashion.
• Assisting with stock-taking.
• Good housekeeping practice within store/yard area.

Other details

• Driving licence preferred but not essential
• Full-time, permanent, Monday to Friday
• Ability to commute reliably to or relocate to Hamilton (required)
• Work location: in person
