Vacancy for Purchase Legder Assistant

Procast Group is a fast-growing construction company requiring an enthusiastic  Purchase Ledger Assistant who can roll their sleeves up to join our very busy finance team.

Working as an integral part of the team, you will provide a professional and efficient service to the finance function, ensuring the timely receipt of payments and resolving account queries quickly and appropriately.

Good time-management and attention to detail are crucial to the role. Knowledge of Sage 50, Sage Payroll and Sage Construct software is an advantage but not compulsory.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Processing purchase ledger invoices
  • Reconciliation of AP Ledger
  • Preparation of supplier payment runs
  • New supplier processing
  • PO reconciliation (familiar with three-way match process)
  • Knowledge of CIS preferable but not essential
  • General ad hoc office/finance admin duties
  • Providing support to other members of the finance team

Additionally our we are looking for someone who can bring:

  • Proactive and fast learner
  • Excellent communication and people skills

Full-time
Monday to Thursday 8:30am–5pm
Friday 8:30am–3pm
Permanent
