Procast Group undertakes full refurb of 52 flats in with Renfrewshire Council and Paisley Housing Association.

Award-winning principal contractor, Procast Group, is undertaking a full refurbishment of over 50 flats and units on two Renfrewshire streets.

The Hamilton-based firm, in conjunction with Renfrewshire Council and Paisley Housing Association, is carrying out the works on abandoned properties on the Paisley’s Causeyside Street and Orchard Street.

Homes and businesses, many of which have lay empty for 15 years, will be ripped out and given a full refit by Procast’s specialist team, providing housing stocks for Paisley Housing Association and its tenants.

The 52 units will be stripped back to the brick and rebuilt, with the internal walls being moved to give the properties, which are located in the centre of the town, a more modern feel and layout.

Following fire damage to two of the blocks, it is a particularly challenging rebuild for the innovative contractor as they aim to work with Renfrewshire Council and the Housing Association to transform old housing stock into modern living spaces.

Derek Innes, Owner and Managing Director of Procast Group, said: “Working with Renfrewshire Council and Paisley Housing Association on such an important and innovative project is a huge boon for Procast Group.

“We are already sharing our expertise as we begin work to transform the properties on Orchard Street and Causeyside Street into excellent living spaces for tenants.

“At Procast, we are passionate about giving old housing stock a new lease of life and this project certainly fits the bill.”
