CONGRATULATIONS to Cameron Mackay, who has been named first-year Roofing, Slating and Tiling Apprentice of the Year at South Lanarkshire College in East Kilbride.
Cameron said: “I’ve had such a great experience at the college, where I have a really good relationship with my lecturer, Ross Hepburn.
“He has a great approach to teaching and his enthusiasm rubs off on everyone in the class. Another good thing is that it is totally unlike school.”
