Meghan makes her mark

27th September 2021

Eco Compliance Manager Meghan Ballantyne is relishing her new role at Procast, which is great news because she loves to learn.

The former Customer Relations Officer – who only joined the group last year – was recently promoted after displaying an incredible eagerness to learn about the construction industry.

Meghan – who graduated from Glasgow Caledonian University with a First-Class Honours Degree in International Business – has responsibility for gathering relevant information and documents relating to contracts that assist clients seeking to access third-party funding.

She said: “I have found in the little time I have been working for Procast that the company invests heavily in its people and is concerned about the individual future of everyone here.”

Away from work, Meghan, who owns a horse called Cookie, is a competitive show jumper, and the pair of them recently competed at the renowned Blairs Castle Horse Trials in Perthshire.

A Procast spokesperson said: “Meghan’s attention to detail and was quickly recognised here, particularly when showing an interest in the ECO compliance side of the business.

“When an opportunity arose for the position of ECO Compliance Manager, Meghan applied for the position.

“Despite having no previous experience in the department, it was evident that she had been doing her research, and her eagerness to learn shone through.

“Meghan was quickly offered the position on a probationary basis and given a chance to grow her knowledge.

“But it has become evident that Meghan is more than capable in the role and, in turn, she has become our ECO Compliance Manager.”
