A comprehensive refurbishment by Procast will spice up the visual appeal of a hugely popular Indian restaurant.
The project to upgrade the interior of the award-winning Sanam curry house in Falkirk will commence in August, 2022, with completion slated for October.
Coming in at £200,000, the programme of works will include:
The project clients are Scarinish Studio, and Procast will be working alongside manufactured joinery partner BJM Design Ltd who have an excellent track record on projects such as this.
Because the works will be carried out in a main street at a bustling period, rigorous procedures and processes relating to traffic management, security and housekeeping will need to be managed and coordinated by the project team.
They will also ensure the highest level of communication and cooperation with the adjacent retail premises to ensure the works do not adversely affect the day-to-day operations of these business.
The project will be led by John Kane supported operationally by Contracts Manager Gary Baxter and Site Manager Chris Graham. Commercially, it will be led by Beth Dougan, supported by our buyer Jennifer Strain.
A Procast spokesman said: “We are absolutely delighted to have secured this exciting project to deliver such a fantastically designed refreshed restaurant space at Sanam.
“This is our first project working for Scarinish Studio and their client Sanam Tandoori restaurant Ltd and which we hope to build upon in the future.”
Sanam was named Best Restaurant in Scotland at the Scottish Curry Awards in 2016 and took the Best Indian Restaurant in Scotland at the Curry Oscars, the British Curry Awards, the following year.
